Looking for a healthier alternative to canned cranberry sauce? This recipe is all natural, can be whipped up in under 20 minutes, and is much healthier than the jellied version. Give it a try with your holiday dinner this year.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups Cranberries
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1 cup Finely Chopped Pineapple
- ½ cup Honey
- 1 tsp Allspice
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
- Add the first four ingredients to a saucepan over high heat.
- Cook until cranberries begin to pop (the skins will break).
- Reduce heat to a simmer.
- Add allspice and cinnamon and stir as the sauce thickens, using the back of your spoon or a masher to mash your cranberries into a thick, textured sauce.
- Serve with your favorite holiday meal…and enjoy!!
